This is an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Older Person's Emergency Referral and Assessment (OPERA) team.
The OPERA Service is a multi-disciplinary, geriatrician-led service designed to improve access to comprehensive assessment and care planning for older or frail people in the North.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting older individuals during their transition from hospital to home or residential care.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and ensure seamless care coordination, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimise functional independence, promote safety, and empower our clients to live their best possible lives.
About YouWe are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a passion for geriatric care and a commitment to person-centred practice.
You will have exceptional clinical skills, a deep understanding of geriatric care, and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the team.
