The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in the Northern Community Mental Health service. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, promoting independence, and fostering personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for consumers experiencing concerns regarding occupational performance.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Utilise a sensory modulation approach to offer insight into an individual's level of functioning and provide non-pharmacological recommendations for reducing distress and maximising functioning.
- Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Proven experience in community-based mental health services, with a focus on promoting independence and personal growth.
