This pivotal role is central to our commercial success, shaping category direction and driving business growth.
As a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mind, you will own the strategic direction of your category, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks through market analysis.
You will lead cross-functional teams to negotiate high-value supplier agreements, shape multi-channel go-to-market strategies, and optimise inventory levels to strengthen our competitive position.
A key responsibility will be to develop and execute category strategies aligned with company growth targets, utilising data-led insights to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute category strategies
- Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour
- Negotiate supplier agreements
- Optimise inventory levels
- Collaborate with marketing teams
To succeed in this role, you will require 5+ years' experience in merchandising, category management or retail buying. You must possess a track record of driving sales and margin growth through smart category strategies.
Strong analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans. Excellent negotiation skills and proven success managing supplier relationships are also crucial.
