Project Risk Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Risk Manager to join our team in Adelaide.

  • This role involves identifying, assigning, and tracking risks and opportunities, ensuring clear ownership and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk insights into project planning, ensuring alignment with corporate risk standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Identification & Ownership: Collaborate with the project controls team to identify, assign, and track risks and opportunities, ensuring clear ownership and mitigation strategies.
  2. Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA): Conduct QRAs to inform contingency levels, validate inputs, and monitor risk exposure, providing scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making.
  3. Reporting & Communication: Develop and present risk dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate QRA outcomes and highlight key insights to stakeholders.
  4. Financial Risk Modelling: Model cash flows over time, assess escalation impacts, and track risk exposure against the remaining budget.
Requirements:
  • Citizenship & Clearance: Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.
  • Risk Management Experience: At least 4 years of experience in risk management, with demonstrated capability at a senior level.
  • Analytical and Commercial Acumen: Strong quantitative skills and commercial awareness, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience using risk tools such as Active Risk Manager, Cura, @Risk, Acumen Fuse, Safran, Primavera Risk Analysis.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working as part of a geographically dispersed team, including remote collaboration with client and site teams.
