Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Architectural Specialist to design and develop system architectures for new and existing computer systems. This role involves maintaining the organization's computer systems' workflows, ensuring their reliable operation, and providing technical support in network management, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
- Maintain an organization's computer systems' workflows and ensure their reliable operation
- Provide technical support in network management, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
- Troubleshoot moderately complex system hardware and software issues
- Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software
- Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
- Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
- Ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
- Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
- Ensure that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
Requirements:
• IAT Level II certification required
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification
• High school diploma or equivalent – 20 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree – 25 years of experience
Certifications:
- IAT Level II cert
- CompTIA Security+ CE
Clearance Required:
TS/SCI FS poly
