Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Officer, your primary duties will include:
1. Providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance services as part of a dynamic team.
2. Working to established best practices to maintain high standards of home upkeep.
3. Collaborating with contractors to ensure all work meets compliance requirements.
4. Performing general maintenance and repairs, including tasks such as patching and painting, replacing light globes, and conducting basic building maintenance.
5. Ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to system processes.
Preferred Attributes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Previous experience in a maintenance position, preferably within the aged care sector.
2. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
3. A current NSW driver's license.
4. Ability to interact positively with elderly residents on a daily basis.
Clearance Requirements
It is essential for applicants to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. These clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
