The Subcontractor and Dockings Manager role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the Defence Marine Support Services (DMSS) Contract.

Working from the Kuttabul Port Team Offices, you will be responsible for providing professional technical and trades support to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of various vessels. As a key member of the Inshore Operations team, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and coordinating with subcontractors.

Your primary focus will be on managing docking projects from scope development to execution, leading warranty processes, and overseeing quality assurance documentation. You will also be responsible for directing schedule management and cost control for dockings, as well as approving invoice claims and ensuring administrative accuracy in asset systems.

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum Certificate III Trade qualification and relevant licenses, extensive maritime experience, and knowledge of RAN operations and asset maintenance practices. You must also be competent in MS Office and Asset Management Systems, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, and hold a current First Aid Certificate.

In addition to these requirements, you will need to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. This is a position of trust and responsibility, and we conduct thorough probity assessments to ensure the right candidate is selected for this critical role.
