Job Title: Cyber Security Infrastructure Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team, providing support for critical government service delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing, managing, and retiring infrastructure that supports digital services, with a strong focus on security administration and compliance.

This role involves recommending, evaluating, and deploying hardware and related software assets. Additionally, it requires resolving complex infrastructure-related incidents and problems, as well as managing network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, routers, switches) and computing infrastructure (data centres, mainframes, midrange systems, servers, desktops).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement network and computing infrastructure strategies, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Liaise with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mainframe Assembler, NCL, CLIST, REXX, and zSecure Carla.
  • Deep technical knowledge of CA-ACF2 and IBM RACF, including integration with MFA, Digital Certificates, and PassTicket.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM technologies and ability to develop Use Cases for Mainframe event ingestion.
