Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Detection and Alarm Specialist to join our team for a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane.
About the Role:
- This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with us as a Fire Detection and Alarm Specialist
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, inspecting, testing, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairing fire detection alarm, warning systems, and associated control and indication equipment in commercial projects and fit-outs
Your Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, inspecting, testing, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairing of fire detection alarm, warning systems, and associated control and indication equipment
- Servicing, inspecting, and testing Exit and Emergency Lighting systems
- Ability to work within a team environment on commercial sites including schools, fit-outs, childcare, multi-residential, and aged care facilities, as well as healthcare settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules accurately
- Maintain attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Current QBCC Licence
- Current C-Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in electrical service and maintenance work, preferably in hazardous areas
- Prior experience working with fire detection and alarm systems
- Ability to obtain a current police clearance
