Technical Sales Professional

At Sika Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Provide technical support and product expertise to customers, including product demonstrations and training.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and maintain lists of potential customers.
- Identify new business opportunities in construction markets and develop sales strategies to pursue them.
- Provide product specifications, demonstrations, and after-sales service, including updates and complaint assistance.
- Record customer interactions and quotations in Salesforce.
- Conduct regular site visits and field trial material testing.
- Comply with sales, pricing, and expense policies.
- Issue technical information/advice per current guidelines.
- Report changes to product/project forecasts, monthly expenses, and End of Month Reports to the Target Market Manager.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar sales role.
- Analytical, organized, energetic, and resilient in sales efforts.
- Excellent customer relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Three years' experience in managing key accounts within construction markets.
- Competent team player who can work autonomously, with a strong aptitude for marketing and sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
