Job Description

Sika Australia is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and exceed budget targets in the construction market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product demonstrations and after-sales service.
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular site visits and field trial material testing.
  • Record customer interactions and quotations in Salesforce.
  • Comply with sales, pricing, and expense policies.
  • Issue technical information and advice to customers.
  • Report changes to product/project forecasts, monthly expenses, and End of Month Reports to the Target Market Manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent customer relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Three years' experience in managing key accounts within construction markets.
  • Competent team player who can work autonomously, with a strong aptitude for marketing and sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
