Teaching and Research Position

We are seeking a motivated academic to contribute to the teaching, research and service activities of the School of Education and the Arts.

  • Develop and deliver foundation and profession-focused units in Geography.
  • Engage in quality research and scholarly activity.
  • Support students across undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and deliver curriculum, engage with students, and assess student performance.
  • Research: Conduct and publish research, collaborate with colleagues, and secure funding.
  • Service: Participate in school and university committees, undertake administrative tasks, and contribute to community engagement.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
  • Experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students using multi-modal delivery strategies.
  • A proven research record with recent publications and ability to contribute to the School's research program.
