Role Overview

This position involves providing academic support to students with diverse needs.

The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic support network working collaboratively with teachers, health professionals, students, and families to deliver tailored academic support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intervention strategies for students at risk of underperformance
  • Recognise individual student needs and provide appropriate support
  • Create Student Profiles for students with Specific Learning Difficulties
  • Develop and review Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring additional support
  • Liaise with parents and encourage active involvement in the student's education

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent teaching experience
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or equivalent industry experience
  • Registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Current First Aid Certificate in an Education setting
