Teaching Opportunity in Paramedicine

The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences at CQUniversity is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in the Bachelor of Paramedic Science.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic to contribute to the development and delivery of our paramedicine curriculum, working with a talented team of academics and clinicians. As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students, as well as contributing to the growth and success of the School.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching, research, and scholarship, and who can make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Job Description


The successful candidate will have experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, using multi-modal delivery strategies. They will also have a proven research record with recent publications and the ability to contribute to the School's research program.

As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering teaching materials and assessments for the Bachelor of Paramedic Science
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the School's research strategy
  • Mentoring junior staff members and supporting their professional development

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification in paramedicine or a closely related discipline
  • Experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • A proven research record with recent publications
