About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our team in delivering complex transmission and distribution projects across Australia and New Zealand. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for managing delivery, verifying detailed design, and monitoring project measures to ensure on-time, under-budget, high-quality delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Technical Lead on projects, managing delivery, verifying detailed design, and monitoring project measures.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of Engineers in a client-facing role, fostering and developing relationships on a variety of projects across various market sectors.
  • Overall team management of the secondary systems team, including work and resource allocation, oversight of projects, and helping the team develop professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team and senior leadership to develop innovative solutions to our clients, assisting with bids, tenders, and business development activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with RPEV (or equivalent) or ability to obtain.
  • Evidence of technical competency and project leadership experience in Secondary System projects, alongside a detailed knowledge of Secondary Systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently on projects in Protection and Control, while working closely with major client accounts.
  • Prior involvement in delivery of detailed scope and specifications, detailed design, review sign off, report writing, and relay configurations.
  • Proven understanding of sub-transmission and distribution system protection and control Australian Standards.
