About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Sales Coordinator to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our trucks to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the retail truck sales order process from factory to customer delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Work closely with the sales team, purchasing, and regulatory authorities to manage expectations and communicate effectively.
  • Plan, monitor, and coordinate the order to delivery process, including securing purchase orders and body slots within required timeframes.
  • Provide weekly and monthly forecasting documents to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Daily contact with suppliers to coordinate the order to delivery process, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Advise dispatch release instructions and book transport for vehicle movements between suppliers, confirming readiness with suppliers.
  • Update coordination planning documents as vehicles move through the delivery chain, reflecting any changes or adjustments.
  • Communicate progress to sales representatives, sales administrators, and sales management, identifying and managing risks to delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality work and adherence to deadlines.
  • Proactively seek changes to build before truck release from the factory, replanning and advising suppliers as necessary.
  • Monitor demonstrator and loan vehicle calendars to ensure agreement dates are compiled or relevant agreements are updated.
  • Register trucks for customer use.
Requirements
  • Confident communicator with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Customer service focus with ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ownership and attention to detail in process management.
  • Comfortable working in a mechanical environment, with knowledge of the trucking industry an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a workshop environment highly regarded.
