Job Description

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

The Diesel Mechanic will source technical information from relevant manuals and systems, conduct inspections to ensure maximum equipment utilisation, and maintain good housekeeping standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-certified individual with post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent;
  • Post-trade experience in Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry;
  • Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment;
  • Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi Heavy Earth Moving Equipment;
