Job Opportunity: Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance crew at Saraji Coal Mine in Queensland, Australia.


About the Role
  • Predominantly working on heavy machinery diesel engines requiring high levels of technical skills and knowledge

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of mechanical principles. Additionally, they will be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Diesel Fitter or similar role
  • Proficiency in fault-finding and repair techniques for diesel engines
  • Familiarity with common hand tools and equipment (e.g., hydraulic press, air compressor)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
