Job Title: Risk and Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Risk and Security Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the security and risk function for our centre, ensuring the wellbeing of our employees, contractors, retailers, and customers.

  • Develop proactive management strategies to identify and mitigate hazards, incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims across the centre and region.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure performance feedback is provided to contract managers for input into performance reviews and remedial actions for contract staff.
  • Provide coaching to contracted staff in line with WHS legislation and obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety audit and inspection program requirements within the centre and support compliance in the Region.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based onsite at Westfield Hurstville. As part of our asset team, you will also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time, requiring weekend shifts (on a roster), balanced with days off in lieu.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in security and experience in risk management strategies.
  • Qualification or related experience in Work Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering training programs.
  • Working knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems.
