Risk and Security Manager Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Risk and Security professional to join our team as a key leader in customer experience. As a Risk and Security Manager, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the wellbeing of employees, contractors, retailers, and customers.

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on creating a safe and welcoming environment where people feel confident and secure. You will be responsible for leading the security and risk function, driving proactive risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring we are always ahead of potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support proactive hazard management, reporting, and response to incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims across the Centre and region.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure service delivery agreements/contracts meet performance expectations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Provide coaching to contracted staff on WHS legislation and obligations.
  • Foster constructive working relationships with internal and external partners, including customers, retailers, and contractors.

Duty Management Responsibilities

You will also have occasional Duty Management responsibilities, requiring weekend shifts with balanced days off in lieu.

About this Opportunity

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in security and risk management.
  • Experience delivering training programs and working knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems.
  • Qualification or related experience in Work Health and Safety.
