Workshop Operations Manager

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to lead a team and be responsible for workshop operations. As a key member of the service team, you will oversee the allocation of jobs, manage daily workflow, and ensure that all work meets manufacturer service and warranty requirements.

You will be expected to motivate and support technicians without micro-managing, and set the tone for safety and compliance within the workshop. This includes prioritising jobs, minimising delays, and solving problems before they become complaints.

Effective communication with Service Advisors is essential, as you will need to keep customers informed and expectations realistic. A strong understanding of manufacturer warranty processes, compliance expectations, and audit implications is also required.

We are looking for someone with proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician in a dealership environment. You should have natural leadership skills, be a skilled communicator, and be able to lead by example. Mechanically qualified candidates are preferred, but not essential.
