Senior Medical Officer Opportunity

  • Permanent Part-time position available.

You will work at the Normanton Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer, providing clinical care to patients with a multidisciplinary team. You will manage administrative requirements of patient care including ensuring discharge summaries and medico-legal correspondence is completed with minimal delay.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mandatory qualifications include a relevant tertiary degree and appropriate registration/licences.
  • Hold current unconditional registration or eligibility for unconditional registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Possession of a Fellowship in General Practice (FACCRM or FRACGP/FRACGP-RG/FARGP).
