A challenging role has become available for a skilled Lead Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic apparel company in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high numbers of SKUs and be familiar with International trade and logistics practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and execution of purchase orders to meet requirements and lead times.
  • Liaise with vendors and planning teams on order status, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Freight Forwarders to ensure all POs are accurately reflected in their systems.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and investigate any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
  • Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, duty, commission, and royalty calculations on all shipped POs.
  • Review and approve shipping conditions to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with the planning team on any delays or issues affecting delivery schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Essential knowledge of SAP system.
  • Experience working with high volumes of SKUs (1000s).
  • Familiarity with International trade and logistics practices, including documentation and Free Trade Agreements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups.

Working Conditions and Benefits

  • This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • The role offers an attractive salary range of AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Located in Alexandria, close to public transport and with on-site parking available.
  • Some flexibility to work from home once trained.
