Job Title: Supply Chain Planner - Forecasting Expert

About the Role:

In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing demand forecasting processes to meet customer needs. Working closely with Marketing and Global Planning teams, you will review sales trends, understand demand drivers, provide input into forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a degree in business or formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations Management.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in Demand/Supply Chain Planning, preferably with advanced supply chain planning systems such as SAP R3, APO SNP.

What You Will Do:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review demand trends, understand demand drivers, seasonality, and provide input into forecast models.
  2. Challenge Market Intelligence assumptions and provide data-driven insights to increase Forecast Value Add, Forecast Accuracy, and Bias.
  3. Develop and coordinate phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) plans in collaboration with Marketing and commercial partners to mitigate excess and obsolescence risk.
  4. Maintain Master Data Maintenance in Blue Yonder (BY) including Segmentation.
  5. Partner cross-functionally to analyze demand planning and inventory management processes to identify potential improvements.
  6. Communicate and collaborate closely with Global teams to ensure ANZ's requirements are clearly understood and met.
  7. Drive process excellence, championing the IBP process, continuous improvement, and best practice.

Medtronic offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 AUD per annum, plus flexible benefits package and professional growth opportunities.
