Financial Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across various industries. You will gain exposure to multiple sectors, including property development, golf courses, wineries, and cellar doors. In this hands-on position, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and a collaborative team to deliver monthly cashflow reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of detailed financial reports, including cashflow statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and management of intercompany transactions
- End-to-end management of Accounts Payable and group payroll functions
- Inventory control and cost management
- Analysis of Cost of Goods Sold and variance identification
You will also be responsible for ensuring data accuracy across POS and inventory systems, providing finance insights and analysis to support operations, and leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
About the Position- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, wineries, or other inventory-based environments
- Accounting qualification (CPA or CA beneficial - membership paid)
- Group entity experience advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems and Xero (beneficial)
