Job Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires providing legal advice on complex issues related to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. The successful candidate will work closely with external lawyers and assist in the conduct of investigations and court proceedings.

About You
  • You must be admitted as a practitioner to the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Experience in advising on merger clearances and competition exemptions, or administrative law, would be advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and policy advice on complex ACCC matters.
  • Conduct research into complex matters relevant to ACCC responsibilities.
  • Assist with the conduct of investigations and court proceedings.
  • Draft and settle complex court documents.
