Swim Instructor Role

Deliver high-quality swimming lessons in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach learn-to-swim tuition based on AUSTSWIM Guidelines while ensuring participant safety.
  • Maintain excellent customer service at all times.
  • Organise and set up swim school equipment for lessons.
  • Plan and conduct learn-to-swim lessons and programs meeting individual participant needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other instructors to improve service delivery.
  • Record and plan learn-to-swim classes prior to delivery.
Requirements:
  • Austswim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check (if over 18).
  • Commitment to honesty and integrity.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
