Job Description:

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Zenitas Healthcare. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and support to employees, managers, and other stakeholders across our disability and aged care services.

You will be responsible for providing day-to-day employment relations advice, supporting and coaching managers through employment matters, and making recommendations. You will also interpret and implement Modern Awards and sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act.

In this role, you will conduct workplace investigations with a solid understanding of procedural fairness, assist and support line managers with staff performance management, and develop and provide reporting and recommendations on P&C initiatives.

You will work closely with our leadership team to deliver HR activities to the highest standard, ensuring that our business operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert employment relations advice to employees, managers, and other stakeholders;
  • Supporting and coaching managers through employment matters and making recommendations;
  • Interpreting and implementing Modern Awards and sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act;
  • Conducting workplace investigations with a solid understanding of procedural fairness;
  • Assisting and supporting line managers with staff performance management;
  • Developing and providing reporting and recommendations on P&C initiatives.
About You:
  • Demonstrated ER/IR advisory experience, preferably in a service sector (disability, aged care or health would be advantageous);
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources;
  • A quick, enthusiastic, solution-focused and people-centric approach to issues;
  • Highly organised and able to work effectively under competing time pressures;
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal;
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
  • High proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, and excellent computer skills;
  • Self-directed and self-motivated;
  • Understanding of employment legislation and wanting to learn more;
  • A desire to collaborate with an incredible team of people across a business that genuinely cares.
