Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Transocean. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our operational rig-based teams and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with assigned Operations Managers and Rig Managers to develop and implement strategic people plans that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Attend regular meetings with Operations Managers and Rig Managers to provide HR insights and support to meet operational and personnel goals.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate leaders on HR best practices and business acumen.
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives in collaboration with the organizational development team.
  • Manage personnel data and initiate transactions in our HR system of record.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations to resolve offshore issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required - Some college education or equivalent work experience, with offshore experience considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Preferred Level - Bachelor's Degree.

Experience

  • Minimum Required - 5-8 years in operational rig-based roles.
  • Preferred Level - 8+ years in operational rig-based roles.

Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office products and fluent in English, written and verbal.
