At Cummins, we're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator Intern. This 13-month, full-time or part-time internship is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

As a Project Coordinator Intern, you'll have the chance to work on projects across the broader Supply Chain Function, including stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and change management. You'll provide support to the Direct Procurement function, focusing on emerging and declining Suppliers' trends, and validate yearly spends in Data Hub/Sievo.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing data analysis and market trend research to recommend sourcing plans that mitigate suppliers' continuity risks.
  • Validating yearly spends in Data Hub/Sievo and providing data analysis for sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional work streams, including Planning, Business/Sales, and Supply Continuity, to launch new suppliers, products, and pricing setups.
  • Supporting the development of internal communications, including research and content generation.
  • Analyzing metrics and data insights to better position Cummins Asia Pacific with world-class supply chain processes.

Qualifications:

  • Currently studying a Bachelor degree in Business or related disciplines.
  • Between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete as of January 2025.
  • Available for the full 13 months and willing to defer studies for that duration.

To be successful in this role, you'll possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, and demonstrate high levels of motivation, maturity, and professionalism.

This is a paid internship, and the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program.
