Senior Financial Accountant Job

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee our full spectrum of financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with standardised accounting guidelines.
  • Consolidate financial data for reporting to our stakeholders.
  • Oversee the general ledger, fixed assets register, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Monitor and forecast daily cash flow to ensure liquidity.
  • Liaise with external advisors to support tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Support payroll, tax compliance, and liaise with external advisors to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Implement, maintain, and test internal controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the annual external audit, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Foster effective communication with stakeholders in multiple languages.
  • Analyse, document, and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA/CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of standardised accounting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
