Senior Financial Accountant Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our organisation and contribute to the success of our finance team.

About the Role

The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance, and driving process improvements across the finance function. You will be a hands-on technical expert while also partnering with stakeholders across operations and group finance.

  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, statutory reports, and group submissions
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and intercompany transactions
  • Support tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, GST, and liaise with external advisors where required
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
  • Partner with commercial finance and operational teams to provide financial insights and analysis
  • Support external audits and ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements
Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in financial accounting, with 4-6 years' experience in a similar role
  • Technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, consolidations, statutory reporting)
  • Experience within complex, multinational businesses
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a continuous improvement mindset
