Senior Financial Accountant Role Summary

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements, statutory reports, and group submissions.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, GST, and collaborate with external advisors when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
  • Partner with commercial finance and operational teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Ensure external audits are conducted smoothly and adhere to corporate governance requirements.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualified with 4-6 years' experience, preferably starting in a Big 4/mid-tier firm and progressing into commercial roles.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, consolidations, statutory reporting).
  • Experience within complex, multinational businesses is highly regarded.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
