Job Title:

Therapeutic Practice Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Therapeutic Practice Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work directly in Regional Operations alongside leadership and front-line teams to support and guide the service in providing therapeutic care to young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily care of young people and play a key role in case planning to ensure care decisions are in the best interests of the young person.
  • Deliver trusted advice by staying current with best practices in trauma-informed care, legislative knowledge, and licensing processes.
  • Promote Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) by offering and delivering tailored TCI training packages suitable for the area’s needs.
  • Support front-line teams and leaders post-crisis, including critical incident analysis and response.
  • Facilitate case review functions at a local level, providing recommendations and expertise in care planning through Case Clinics and related documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline, or a Diploma of Community Services (or related discipline) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder presentation, consultation, and negotiation.
