This position supports Moorabool Shire Council's recovery efforts following the February 2024 storms, coordinating recovery activities, managing contractors and suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient delivery of recovery outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management within asset recovery and maintenance.

About You

">

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable professional with qualifications in arboriculture and/or horticulture, or equivalent experience. You will have demonstrated skills in coordinating complex projects, managing contractors, and maintaining accurate records with safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recovery activities following natural disasters">
  • Manage contractors and suppliers and maintain accurate records">
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of recovery outcomes and restore vital infrastructure">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • Qualifications in arboriculture and/or horticulture, or equivalent experience">
  • Strong background in project management within asset recovery and maintenance">
  • Demonstrated skills in coordinating complex projects, managing contractors, and maintaining accurate records with safety and compliance">
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White Card) required">
