About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety in analytical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing in the laboratory as part of a standard operating procedure.
  • Maintain, test, and conduct stock takes as allocated by the Team Lead.
  • Verify sample details are accurate and logged appropriately, following up with clients where necessary.
  • Complete all documentation according to GDP-approved procedures.
  • File and archive department records in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained as per approved protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a current degree in Science/Chemistry or a related field.
  • Be a qualified Chemist with excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of GMP and GLP guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using complex laboratory instrumentation and following complex test procedures.
  • Be familiar with Windows-based software and able to work independently.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
