Maintenance Serviceperson Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Serviceperson to join our team. As a key member of our residential homes maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our products.

The ideal candidate will have a trade background, preferably Carpentry or similar experience, and excellent communication skills to engage with clients and teams. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of new homes, compiling detailed reports on identified issues, and communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines.

This is a hands-on role that requires a positive attitude, capable of working independently or within a team. Our leaders foster inclusive teams, valuing individual contributions and promoting safety, integrity, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting new homes for defects
  • Compiling detailed reports on identified issues
  • Communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines
  • Assisting in monitoring contractor progress
  • Following up outstanding works from trades and contractors as needed
  • Attending to works assigned by the Handover Supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A trade background, preferably Carpentry or similar experience
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and teams
  • Effective prioritisation and attention to detail
  • A full driver's licence to operate a service van
