A visionary leader is required to drive the success of our English and Humanities department. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of students.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence student learning outcomes through strategic planning, effective collaboration, and a strong focus on student wellbeing. As the Head of Department, you will play a key role in aligning system priorities with the school's strategic direction, demonstrating strong knowledge and understanding of the English and Humanities curriculums and their effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a departmental plan that aligns with the school's strategic goals
  2. Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences
  3. Build the capacity of staff through professional development and coaching
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  5. Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
