Job Description

We are seeking a strategic leader to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our internal advisory teams, providing expert guidance to our members and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and empowering high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing accurate, timely, and practical advice across a broad range of issues
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex matters, offering clarity and sound judgement
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify emerging issues and shape policy and advocacy priorities
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications (trade or tertiary)
  • Proven industry knowledge, developed through direct and practical experience in the sector
  • Demonstrated experience distilling complex technical advice in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate favourable regulatory and policy outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, tailored to diverse audiences
