About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liquor Industry Professional to join our team as the IGA Liquor Account Manager based in Victoria. This is a high-profile role that will see you build innovative promotional programs to drive shopper engagement and loyalty through collaborating with an invested retail committee, national category and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and facilitate discussions with retail committee representatives to ensure that local requirements are captured and fed into the category and marketing functions
  • Foster strong working relationships with the broader retail network
  • Engage with suppliers to build strong plans specific to the IGA network
  • Gather and communicate local market intelligence throughout the business on an ongoing basis
  • Present quarterly business reviews to the internal state team to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities that will affect performance
  • Provide the Operations function / Field sales team (BDM's) the right information in a timely fashion to ensure optimal execution of retail programs, and maximise service levels and retail development support to member network
Requirements
  • Team leadership experience / People Management / Coaching experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Must have strong experience/background in the Liquor industry
  • Excellent presentation skills and effective time management
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and insights
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
