Key Role: Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking experienced casual support workers to join our centre-based programs in Melbourne, Australia.


Job Overview:
  • Deliver high-quality support services to clients through the development and facilitation of tailored group programs.
  • Provide direct support during program delivery, including personal care, behavioural, physical, and social supports.
  • Create a positive environment promoting physical and emotional well-being for all clients.
  • Build strong relationships between staff, clients, families, and representatives to provide quality services and outcomes.
  • Offer emotional support by listening to clients' concerns and addressing their needs.

Essential Requirements:
  • Certificate IV Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support qualification, or currently working towards a relevant qualification.
  • Understanding of aged care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to foster a positive culture.

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC, and NDIS Clearance.
  • Full driver's license and travel between sites required.
  • Experience and ability to drive DPV Health Buses (11-seater).
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
