Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Job Description:
At Kyabram District Health Service, we are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our Primary Health program. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing speech pathology services to outpatient community clients, acute and aged services, and within the early intervention service/NDIS where required. Your expertise will enable you to assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide support and guidance to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology, or an equivalent qualification as recognised by Speech Pathology Australia;
- Membership of Speech Pathology Australia;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- Excellent time management and communication skills both written and verbal;
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Family Centred Practice;
- Up-to-date knowledge of adult communication and swallowing disorders;
- Confidence working with elderly within residential and community settings;
- Working with a broad paediatric caseload of common paediatric disorders/disabilities;
- Experience in supervising junior staff & undergraduate Speech Pathology students;
