Job Title: Home Assessing Team Lead

 

Job Description:

The role of the Home Assessing Team Lead is to oversee the operations of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving set goals.

 

  • Direct Responsibility for On-road Assessing Team and Desktop Assessing Team.
  • Act as Key Department Liaison for Internal and External Stakeholders.
  • Work closely alongside Commercial Manager to vet and procure selected supplier services with appropriate governance, compliance and contractual frameworks.
  • Lead, drive and develop capability team meetings with Direct Report(s) and develop frameworks that produce highly engaged and technically strong customer-focused home and office-based Desktop Home Assessing team.
  • Coach, develop, mentor and support Direct Report(s) to ensure entire team's performance meets key performance indicators and service standards.
  • Act as escalation point in complex negotiations and high-profile disputes, working closely with Claims Management Team.
  • Implement and oversee WH&S regulatory frameworks to manage risks stringently.
  • Monitor, manage and audit tactical supplier performance to ensure agreed Procurement protocols are executed according to contractual and best practice standards.
  • Identify and report on key trends within Home Assessing team, as well as external practices presenting risks or opportunities to Auto & General.
  • Work collaboratively across end-to-end Home value chain to ensure controls deliver against business objectives.
  • Lead Home Assessing Team through Change Programs.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market developments in Building Repair industry, regulatory requirements, company processes, systems, products and brands.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you will need to possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving set goals. You will also need to have experience in managing teams and have a good understanding of WH&S regulations and compliance requirements.
