Job Description
Aged care operations manager is responsible for the overall management of residential aged care services. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents, their families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the provision of quality care and services to residents, including managing budgets and resources.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including residents, family members, and external agencies, to resolve issues and improve outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in nursing or related field (desirable)
  • Proven experience in aged care leadership or management roles
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing aged care services
