Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Residential Care Manager to oversee the operations of our Aged Care Facility.

  • This is a dynamic role that requires effective leadership and HR management skills to create a positive work culture for staff.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing finances, budgets, and ensuring quality planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Promoting an interactive workplace health and safety system to ensure optimum health and wellbeing of staff is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To undertake the overall responsibility of the operations of the home to deliver high-quality services to residents and their families.
  • Create a positive work environment through effective leadership and human resources management.
  • Manage finances and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure Quality planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Promote an interactive WHS system to ensure optimum health and wellbeing of staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A high level of business acumen including strong financial management experience.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Aged care experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous management experience of diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of ACFI, the Aged Care Act, WHS, accreditation and continuous improvement.
  • A passion for aged care and commitment to its values.
  • Clinical background as an RN or related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration is desirable.
