This pivotal role involves leading end-to-end procurement activities across diverse portfolios, partnering with stakeholders to deliver innovative, value-driven supply solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage procurement plans and documentation tailored to stakeholder needs and service objectives.
- Lead tendering processes, requests for quotes, and panel access while ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advice, training, and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
- Monitor and update procurement policies and systems to reflect industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money and support service delivery.
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
- Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
- Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
