Commercial Strategy Role

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Strategy Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and commercial success of our global online sports betting business operating in key markets.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on betting markets, consumer behavior, and industry activity across our core territories. This includes developing models and frameworks to analyse market trends and project revenue growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain databases and tools to support data-driven decision making.
  • Assist in providing analysis and assessment on new business development opportunities.
  • Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis.
  • Review and summarise industry publications, key bulletins, analyst reports and economic data relevant to sports betting.
  • Compile evidence and research for license applications and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking and ROI analyses.
  • Review and negotiate key commercial contracts, including supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels and costs analysis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into short commercial insights.
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries and their commercial frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, Excel).
