Senior Director, Business Development

The Department of Trade, Business and Asian Relations is the Northern Territory Government's lead agency to shape an enabling environment that activates industry, attracts investment and drives business growth to sustain a vibrant Territory economy and lifestyle.

As Senior Director, Business Development, you will provide executive leadership by partnering with government and industry stakeholders to drive business and industry growth. Your primary objective is to spearhead the development and management of targeted initiatives to increase local participation in industry supply lines.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting projects, programs and initiatives that empower business and industry sectors to grow their capabilities and contribute to government policy objects. This role entails supervising in-depth research, analysis, advice and engaging with stakeholders to shape government policies and enhance local involvement in supply chains, gas and mineral services.

This position requires highly developed strategic, analytical and project management skills to ensure success. You will leverage your extensive background in strategic business planning, executive leadership, team management abilities and your ability to influence outcomes at a strategic level.
