About the Role

We currently have full-time, permanent opportunities in regional Queensland and NSW.

Reporting to your Project Manager, you will work alongside a supportive and collaborative team, contributing to the successful delivery of civil construction projects.

Key duties will include:

  • Implementing innovative, cost-efficient construction methodologies and techniques;
  • Working actively with Supervisors and the workforce to eliminate unnecessary activities;
  • Assisting with tasks delegated by the Project Engineer/Manager;
  • Monitoring the program throughout the life of the project to ensure milestones are completed on time;
  • Assisting with planning the resources required to achieve the construction program (plant, labour, and subcontractors) and sourcing;
  • Planning and implementing the procurement of materials and subcontractors to achieve construction programs;
  • Recognising variations, quantity increases or decreases, and additional scope of works for the production of variation correspondence;
  • Monitoring day costs for activities with Supervisors and making adjustments if unit costs are excessive;
  • Providing information for the end-of-month project costs report with the Project Engineer/Manager;
  • Implementing environmental controls where necessary.
