Job Summary:

The Women and Girls Coordinator role at Workforce Australia for Individuals is a part-time, fixed-term position that aims to improve access and opportunities for women and girls in tennis to achieve gender equality in the sport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Tennis TAS staff and key stakeholders to deliver tailored Women and Girls programs and initiatives to meet the goal of achieving gender equality.
  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) on Women and Girls for other Tennis TAS business units and coordinate relevant projects to increase and enhance the participation of women and girls in tennis.
  • Assist in the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of Women and Girls programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of gender equality principles and their application in a sports development context.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
